"SBHC truly has been an inspiration to my family and me. The minute you walk into the center – you feel happy and the positive energy. I have learned so much about myself and about life in general. Dr. Jaena does not only treat the problem, but gives you the tools to allow your body to heal on its own. My visits to SBHC started in March 2008 when I had lower back and shoulder pain. My first initial visit was quite confusing to me . I was shocked and enlightened at the same time when I found out the real source of my pain. I found out that the “pain” I felt was my body’s way of telling me that I needed to pay more attention to myself. I was always so busy doing things for others, but yet there was little or no time left to myself at the end of the day. How you deal with stress and life’s challenges has big impact on your body’s physical condition. The most important lesson that I have learned is how you deal and receive life’s stressing situations. You have a choice. Dr. Jaena also guided me in always looking at the positive aspect of any situation. You will always be faced with challenges, but what matters the most is how you deal with it. Since then, my husband and two sons (ages 5 and 8) are also being treated by Dr. Jaena on a regular basis. She tells us time and time again that she loves working with kids because they react so easily and well with treatment. With anything positive, teaching young children at an early age will only benefit them in the future. The future is what we look forward to and Dr. Jaena has made it that much clearer."

"I first started taking my son, Adam, to Dr. Jaena when he was nine months old. "I injured my foot while I was running on the treadmill. After a few days of not being able to walk on my foot, I went to my regular doctor who diagnosed me with plantar facitis. He said it would be something I would deal with for the rest of my life. He sent me home with a prescription for pain killers and an anti-inflammatory. He also recommended shoe inserts for support. "My past had included asthma, allergies, eczema, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, acid reflux and diabetes to name a few. from the early 80's to mid 90's, I was probably hospitalized twice a year for asthma attacks. In the 90's, I had dabbled and experimented with herbal supplements to no avail. In 2005, Dr. Jaena's name was given to me by a friend.
